Sadly, we must let you know that we will not be able to operate our annual Singleton Family Christmas Light Display this year.

We know that many people look forward to the display, and in this year COVID it is obvious that it would be wonderful to help lift people’s spirits, and bring joy to children young and old. However, for our display to be fully enjoyed, people must walk around to take in the sights and sounds of Christmas. Due to the current mandate limiting 25 visitors, it would be impossible for us to regulate. Failure to enforce the by-law would put us at risk of a very large fine.

This decision makes sense for us. It is important that we all make difficult choices to help protect each other. Obviously, after over 20 years of our Christmas display, this is a very hard decision for us. We had already started to put up our displays (which we will now take down and put away for next year). We will keep our 2021 display efforts ongoing, and add special items for next year’s display.

We encourage you and your families to enjoy this winter with walks, fresh air, and taking in the Christmas lights in your community viewed from the safety of your vehicle.

We are already preparing for next year, with new and unique elements to our display, and we look forward to seeing you at that time.
