The Stonehouse of Campbellville
We are a retail store selling (predominantly English) leaded antique stained glass windows.
To a lesser extent, we are also a stained glass studio with an on-site interpretive centre.
We have roughly 3,000 windows in the summer and 2,000 windows in the winter; we carry a few religious windows but most of our stock are secular windows.
Price range starts at about $60 and can go up to $15,000. However, the majority of our windows are priced below $400.
Sales occur periodically and information will be posted under SALES as well as on our Facebook page.
As you enjoy the array of colours and designs on display, we also encourage you to visit the "light room" which typically displays the more intricate and unique pieces along with several interesting writeups.
Also in the light room, there are several "cartoons" on the ceiling that artists have used to in the stained glass window creation process.
Artisans are available on weekdays to demonstrate the methods of working with antique glass and lead cane to repair windows.
(Note that we do not make custom windows (or window frames) for customers although our artisans are open to doing commissioned repairs or custom made windows on occasion).
